I will burst if I don't share this!

I just finished watching the new remake of Jane Austen's "Persuasion" and I am crazy lovin' it!

Love story, Jane Austen, period piece, happy ending:  everything I love in a movie.

I know I am a complete sap, aren't I?  

This is one chick flick to the max!  :-p

I do believe I even like this much more than "Pride & Prejudice," which WAS my fave.  Mr. Darcy who?    ;-)  Captain Frederick Wentworth played by an actor named Rupert Penry-Jones.  Wow.  Didn't know him until now.  Where have I been?

Spring Break begins...

The kids are now off school.
So, I get to keep them all to myself again. I just love that!
We are staying in town, so we'll have lots of activities planned for the coming week.
We watched "Horton Hears a Who" last Friday. It is a cute move. If you haven't seen it yet, you and your little ones will enjoy it, too.

This weekend has been nice and warmer for a change.
I may be able to actually ditch the fleece wardrobe once and for all. ;-)

By the way, Scrap-A-Faire just started and is going on this entire month. It's free to attend. Classes and chats are going on.

I leave you with my little artist's (Lauren) masterpiece from this weekend. My daughter LOVES to draw. She gives me these lovely works of art almost daily. :)
