It's hard to believe the year is almost over. Time seems to fly by faster, the older I get. How about you? And speaking of getting older, I am turning 1 year older this month. Yeah, I am going to be 27. ;P {yeah in my dreams, right? LOL}
So the holidays are coming. And I have a long way to go before I complete my gift-shopping.
But I have been crafting, as always, and plan on making several handmade gifts this year. As I mentioned earlier, I am on a sewing frenzy. I'm back to my first love: my sewing roots have kicked in.
Wanted to share a project I created for
Fiskars, that ... get this, involved no sewing. It's a 2-sided fleece throw. Some of you may have made these before. After I created the one pictured below, I had to do more! I took the kids to the fabric store & let them pick out their own prints. I just finished my third. It is so cute and cozy! Check out the
article here, which features rotary cutters. You gotta have one of those. They are quite handy.
The article also includes other projects from the Fiskars DT, along with the most adorable pot-holder set by my pal,
Janna.
Oh also, we just ended our
Got Sketch Express last week. So, all 8 sketches & their downloadable pdf's are all posted. If you want to take advantage of seeing the whole GSE set, go to the
GSE info page to sign up. We will keep the site open until the end of December.
Have a good day!
