Got Sketch 107!

My latest class, Got Sketch 107, just kicked off today -- and what an awesome start it is!

Not only is this an 8-week class, we've added weekly "Tips & Techniques" VIDEOS, and a chance to get additional bonus sketches for your gallery participation!

Final Reminder: Ultimate School Album Class

Hey Got Sketch friends, 

'Just one last reminder about the Ultimate School Albumclass. It starts on Wednesday, September 8.

Pre-registrants will be able to access the classroom beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7.

If you've pre-registered and have yet to start your membership, please do so as soon as possible.

This 5-week online class covers pre-K to 12th grade, (14) double-page spreads, and (2) singles = 30 pages!

That's 16 individual lessons and printable pdf's galore to customize your kids' albums.

UPDATE: Due to popular request by our international friends, I have included one alternate pdf for the title page that will give you the ability to label whatever grade-level terminology your country uses. In addition, if you have Microsoft Word, you will be able to create basic circular text titles by using a document that is editable and customizable.

Got Sketch DOUBLES is ON!

It's day one of Got Sketch Doubles! 

We are so excited!  Now the fun begins!

The first sketch has been revealed and the members are already planning their first double-page layouts!

We have a "reveal" almost every single day to keep those creative juices flowin' and get those photos into pages.

So, today is day four of "Eye for Design."  One word:  Inspirational.

Thought you'd want to see a bit of what the members are seeing in class.

With three challenges a week, everyone is keeping busy.  

Although class has started, you may sign up anytime during or shortly after the class ends.

The premise of this workshop is to inspire you to step out of your COLOR comfort zone when designing scrapbook pages. Christy teaches you where to find color inspiration; shares her own design process; and then poses a challenge to members three times a week. To play along with the challenge-- you can create a page using similar color schemes or design your own color scheme based on the process Christy has shared. Follow along with each challenge to learn valuable tips, tricks and design insight from one of the industry's most talented artists!

Got Sketch 103 Reminder

Hey there! Just 1 more day till the Got Sketch 103 doors open!

Registrants: If you were not redirected to our "Welcome Page" or missed it somehow, you need to let us know asap so we can get you all set up.

Please be sure that you are "pending approval" at our private site, so that you are sure to get approved in on Thursday morning (Feb 5).

Got Crafts Updates (and a Drawing!)

As we turn the calendar to 2009, why not kick off the NEW YEAR with a crafty calendar?  Just wanted to share 2 new downloads that are available at Got Crafts?    Janna and I each designed a NEW downloadable calendar that is available for immediate download!  I created a desktop calendar and Janna did a cool "Dates to Remember" calendar book.  These would make such great gifts for someone special!

The DOWNLOADS section of our Got Crafts? site is all about downloadable project ideas and inspiration.  What that means for you is that with just a few clicks of the mouse, you can have a crafty project to create and an afternoon (or late night :) of creative bliss!  All of the current downloads are $16 and are available in a pdf format.  Downloads include numerous process and finished product photos, supply lists, instructions and helpful tips.  I think you'll really love these cool projects!  Take a looky if you have some time.

Hello all! 

Needless to say, this month has been insane! 

Sorry for the lack of blog updates, but with my recent birthday and holiday preparations, there is just not enough time to do anything else. I hope your holiday plans are taking shape nicely. I still have lots of gift-wrapping to do myself. :) 

On the crafty side, Janna and I have several things going on.

Due to a popular demand after the completion of our recent freebie class, Got Sketch Mini, we've decided to make our Got Sketch 101 & 102 classes available for those who missed the first go-around of the workshop series. While the original classes were interactive with teacher and student participation, prizes, forums and a gallery, these offerings will be more of a print-and-go format for your convenience. As usual, there's no homework, classes are self-paced and EVERYBODY gets an A+! We are offering all of the complete and original class content in an easy-to-navigate online classroom.

Happy Friday

Although I did have one rough Friday (that involved a trip to an Urgent Care facility and a shot for migraine relief - was that TMI?  :-P), I am happy that it's Friday because I have decided to make my weekends almost work-free.
