Got Sketch 104: Last Day

Today is the last day of our online class, Got Sketch 104.  Wow, time has really flown by!!

Another fun session and great times, ladies!  :)

Our final videos today feature an in-depth guided tour of our scraprooms.  Yes, mine and Janna''s!

For the first time, we are sharing what's in those drawers, cabinets, and closets.    (And one of mine is a scary sight. lol)

I'm still here.  The cobwebs are accumulating again on this blog.  lol.

Many things are going on and this blog seems to be the last one of the list to get updated.

Got Sketch 104 is about to end this week.  That has really kept me and Janna very busy.

It's another awesome class and the energy in there is quite something.

This time, Janna and I both did our videos on our creative process.  We give a glimpse of how we tackle a layout from start to finish.  It's very interesting to watch each other's footage and learn some simple "a-ha" tips along the way.

The sketches are amazing.  And as always, seeing the gallery hopping with lots of shared layouts from the class is so inspiring!  We have the friendliest gals in there and hanging out with them is one of the best parts of doing these classes.  

Can't believe how fast the last 3 weeks have gone.  Although the class ends this Friday, July 3, the private classroom will continue to be accessible until the end of July.  So, if you have been thinking about joining, you can certainly do that, download everything instantly, check out and participate in the gallery, and watch our videos.  Click here for the GS104 Info Page.

I've been very busy with multiple projects.  Between paper crafting and sewing, I just flip-flop back and forth.

Been having a blast putting my sewing machine to good use lately.  I am so glad and happy to be back sewing again.  It is my first love, after all.  I've been sewing since I was a young girl.

These are some key fob wristlets I made for myself and some close friends.  Aren't they cute!?  No excuse to misplace our keys anymore!

With the kids end-of-the-school-year activities, I have been busy, busy, busy (and a neglectful blogger).

'Hope you all enjoy your 3-day weekend.  'Love those morning when I can sleep in.  :)

These accents were all made with punched pieces.  As some of you may know, I love using punches.

I especially love to use them to create new shapes other than what their intended shape is.

So, today is day four of "Eye for Design."  One word:  Inspirational.

Thought you'd want to see a bit of what the members are seeing in class.

With three challenges a week, everyone is keeping busy.  

Although class has started, you may sign up anytime during or shortly after the class ends.

The premise of this workshop is to inspire you to step out of your COLOR comfort zone when designing scrapbook pages. Christy teaches you where to find color inspiration; shares her own design process; and then poses a challenge to members three times a week. To play along with the challenge-- you can create a page using similar color schemes or design your own color scheme based on the process Christy has shared. Follow along with each challenge to learn valuable tips, tricks and design insight from one of the industry's most talented artists!

Cobwebs on my blog

LOL, I know I haven't been great with blog updates. Cobwebs are actually building up on here. ;P 

My kids were on spring break last week so I've been spending lots more quality time with them, which I love.  I was actually a bit sad when they returned back to school this week.   

And of course, I'm keeping busy with a few things:

• Got Sketch continues with its weekly sketch reveals, known designer contributors, challenges, & prizes this month.
• Janna and I have been working on some things with Got Crafts!  Did you hear about this?  More info on this coming very, very soon.
• And another guest instructor will be launching something as well through Got Crafts.  So lots of behind-the-scenes work going on. 
• I have another kit that will be available shortly through a scrapbook store (not in Indy).  It's a 2-page 12x12 kit featuring some adorable paper-piecing accents! 
• My "Celebrate" birthday mini book kit is also available.  Check out this card I made using the leftover products from this kit:
